I am often reminded of why listening is so important… not only in work and fun, but with our families it becomes especially important.  In the hustle and bustle of life, making it a point to listen and improving our listening skills can make a big difference in the quality of our most important relationships. 

 

Read this and practice on your children, your partner, and your close friends (as well as those you work with). When you are at home, put down your phone and turn off the tv/dvd, and hear all the things your family is wanting to say and needs to be heard every day.

 

Every now and then, we all need a reminder:).
