The Bridge Across for Step and Single Parent Families is for single parent families, stepfamilies, those who work with them (therapists, counselors, community and church organizations, human resources/EAPA), and those who love them. Founded in 2006 by Jayna Haney, The Bridge Across has helped hundreds of single parents and stepfamilies by providing them with strategies, tools and programs specifically designed for single parents and stepfamilies to help them make the transitions, learn the tools, and create strategies that work in their lives. The Bridge Across partners with many community organizations to assist them in offering programs and services especially for single parent and step families. Jayna is on the board of Home Encouragement, and is a member of the Greater Houston Healthy Marriages Coalition, Stepfamily Foundation, and the National Association of Relationship and Marriage Education (NARME).
