Intentional, Real-Life Marriage – (What we learned in our 2nd marriage that we didn’t know in our 1st!)

If you are looking for the perfect marriage, you won’t find it here. What you will find is two people who’ve learned the hard way what to value and how to partner regardless of life’s interruptions.

After nearly two decades of a thriving marriage through difficult challenges, Jayna and Mike understand that it is not easy to discuss divorce, heartbreak, life’s ups and downs, parenting, learning new skills, and remarriage — but they do it honestly and fearlessly while sharing their own personal “light bulb moments”. They dive right in to the most important aspects of a fulfilling, satisfying, pretty darn funny, vibrant, and yes, passionate partnership and marriage.

Jayna and Mike will gently guide you with their own combination of laughter, wisdom, and straight talk in the important concepts of the real marriage map, the danger of disconnects, and their own personal daily practices that get them through the toughest of times. Learn how to do replays and start overs (happy marriage is not for perfect people) and how to manage anger and frustration with one another.

You will hear some funny and true stories about a real life, imperfect, still passionate, happily married couple. Mike and Jayna will leave you laughing, enlightened, hopeful, and more forgiving of yourself and your partner.

Harmonious Holiday Planning for Families – Increase your joy and decrease your stress during the holidays!

Are these your thoughts around the holiday season?

My family shows up and sits around while I cook all day.

I’m a divorced parent. I miss my kids on holidays and end up cleaning my closets instead of enjoying myself. I feel bad and don’t know what to do.

We always seem to run out of time to do what we really wanted to do in the first place.

My partner and I always end up fighting during holidays. Why is that?

Every holiday seems like a mad rush to get as much done as possible and no time to enjoy it.

I want my kids to value the holidays but I don’t have a lot of money right now. How do I stop feeling guilty? Teach them to value the meaning instead of the stuff? And explain that I don’t have a lot of money to my kids?

How do I get my stepfamily organized to enjoy the holiday with all the transitions, so we feel good at the end of our time together?

Why does my ex always do crazy things around the holidays?

All families have challenges at the holiday time. Learn how to plan and prepare for those holiday vacations whether you have kids or not with great ideas for Christmas, Hanukah, Easter, Passover or any other holidays you and your family spend together. You will learn easy and effective ways to create holidays that are relaxing, memorable and enjoyable as well as making sure that no one is stuck alone in the kitchen cooking or cleaning up. Additionally, single parents and stepfamilies will learn how to manage transitions, ex issues, and other holiday concerns. Increase your joy and decrease your stress this holiday season!

Living the Single Parent Life… Without Limits

Yes, single parents can be very happy, fulfilled, confident and centered in their life.
But most find that there is something keeping them from feeling this way.

Do you feel centered where you are in your life right now? Do you worry about your parenting and your children? Do you have blame, shame or regret that you can’t seem to shake? Are you basically okay and doing fine BUT you feel like there is something more you are supposed to know/be/do, but not sure what?

We’ll discuss 4 important strategies you need to focus on as a parent and future partner, and the fundamental purpose of single parent living (yes, there is a purpose!), and the exact steps you need to take to get to where you want to be in your life, now and in the future.
Create a happier and more fulfilling life for yourself — and ultimately, know how to help your children become the adults you want them to be.

Exes and Answers

End the drama, disruption, and anxiety caused by “ex” conflict and make your home a safe haven once more…

Let’s be honest. It is tough to co-parent with children, even if you are both good people and love your kids. Emotions and fears can run high and often lead down a road of constant emails, texts, phone calls, lawsuits, and disrespect that feels like we are paralyzed.

Do you share children with an ex-partner, and feel stuck with the craziness, drama and frustration of you and your ex?

Do you constantly worry about what the ex will do next or how to respond?

And when you talk about all the feelings with family and friends, no one really understands exactly what you and/or your partner are going through or what you and your ex are going through?

You love your family, and don’t want to lose them. But what can you do?

The Bridge Across offers invaluable guidance and understanding on dealing with exes and helps you learn how to build resilience in your children. We have a step by step program that can walk you through issues and conflicts with solutions and a plan to improve your situation and find peace of mind for yourself, your partner, and your children/stepchildren.
